Kelly Scott, President
BC Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association
Mr. Scott is the President of the BC Road Builders (BCRB) and Heavy Construction Association (HCA), an organization established in 1966 to provide a unified voice for the heavy construction and highway maintenance industries in British Columbia. BCRB & HCA represents more than 265 member companies providing infrastructure construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance as well as the supply of related goods and services throughout British Columbia. Kelly is an experienced executive and senior business leader with over 35 years of national and international experience working with industry. Prior to joining Road Builders, Kelly was in the heavy equipment industry where he took on leadership roles at various locations throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Scotland, and England as part of Canadian-based Finning International. His experience in numerous markets gives Kelly a unique insight into cultural and demographic differences in the workplace and industry.
Active in the local community Kelly has served on the BC Truck Loggers Board, the Lower Mainland United Way Board and the Alzheimer’s Society ‘Forget me not’ Golf committee. He is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and holds an Executive Program Certificate from the Banff School of Advanced Management.
