BCTA Flood Relief Cross Border Meeting

BCTA is pleased to host this Cross Border online meeting for commercial road transportation companies on Monday, December 13th from 9-11am.  Join us as representatives from Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), BC Ministry of Finance (MoF), Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC), and Pacific Customs Brokers Inc (PCB) will present on what is required for Canadian carriers to transport in the U.S.

Due to BC’s two primary east-west corridors (Highway 5 and Highway 1/Fraser Canyon) being closed due to major damage caused by BC flooding, information presented at this meeting will be critical for Canadian carriers considering in-transit operations through the U.S., to provide more options for goods transport to that of Highway 3. Information presented will include US DOT & Motor Carrier Numbers, drug & alcohol clearinghouse, fuel tax registration/filing, transportation of hazardous goods & associated insurance requirements, bonded carrier, e-manifest (ACI/ACE), etc.
