We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our Executive Management Team as Traffic Manager at our Coquitlam location.
This team member will join a roundtable of executive management peers who are responsible for directing the organization. You will participate in the collaborative building and execution of our Strategic Business Plans with the other department heads: Operations, Business Development, Finance, Accounting, Administration, Human Resources, and Fleet Management.
The Traffic Manager’s role is to support the corporate objectives of protecting/improving margins while staying competitive in our pricing. The position’s core functions are the preparation of new account proposals, maintenance of our costing model, review and adjustment of existing agreements, ongoing margin analysis of key accounts, P&L analysis of service lanes and schedules, tracking of competitive trends, ensuring tariffs are current and relevant, and providing pricing/margin input for annual budgeting.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both written and verbal
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly analytical
Strong knowledge of LTL freight-handling requirements
Advanced user of Excel, Word. Some experience with TMS platforms (e.g. TruckMate) an asset
Relevant post-secondary professional certification (ie CITT) is an asset
