The Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanics will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, Trailer Mechanics and Apprentices to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

 

This position is subject to a modified Continental shift. Hours of work are 6:00 - 18:00.

Skills and Qualifications

Specific responsibilities include:

  • A Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic
  • Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position
  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
  • Experience using computers to enter work orders
  • Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
  • Valid BC Driver's License
