Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as a full time 5 Ton Truck Driver.

The 5 Ton Truck Driver is responsible for driving our 5 Ton vehicle for the purpose of delivering and picking up shipments from our customers. The driver will be required to ensure paperwork is signed and freight is accounted for.

 

Shift Times:

9:00 am-5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Based on the volume of work, shifts may be on weekends and start/end times of shifts may vary.  Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.

 

Compensation:

Starting at $23/hour

Depending on experience starting hourly rate is negotiable.

North Saanich, BC

 
Skills and Qualifications

Job Summary:

  • Driving delivery routes throughout Vancouver Island
  • Complete assigned pickups and deliveries
  • Assist in loading and unloading freight on assigned vehicle
  • Pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks
  • Report any discrepancies as they arise
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment
  • Monthly cellular reimbursement provided

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Cellular (Android) phone
  • Ability to pass Criminal Record Check
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Steel-toed boots
  • Fun, positive, and professional attitude
  • Punctual
Location Vancouver Island Region (Warehouse Located in North Saanich)
Compensation/Pay Rate Starting at $23/hr, depending on experience rate is negotiable
