BCTA members were among the 48 employers honoured as the best workplaces in Canada’s trucking industry in the 4th annual Top Fleet Employers program. Trucking HR Canada announced the stand-out companies on April 25, 2017.

The popularity of this program and dedication of fleets and service providers to establishing and expanding best human resources practices is growing. Last year 39 fleets were honoured; the year before 22; and in 2014, the inaugural year of the program in Canada, just 10.

The Top Fleet program rates applicants of every size on topics including recruitment and retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and innovative HR practices.
